Africa Diaspora TV Unveils Show Anchor

The African diaspora TV (ADTV), a television show devoted to showcasing Africans, especially Nigerians in Diaspora as a platform where they can share experiences with other diasporas and those at home in terms of their rich contributions to host governments, challenges, lifestyle, cultural integration among others has named Angela Ogieva, a thorough-bredtelevision personality, author and highly reputed professional of local and international standing  as the show anchor.

Angela, a graduate of Fine Art from the Federal Polytechnic, Auchi in Edo state also holds a Masters Degree in Marketing from the prestigious Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma as well in Edo State.

Her international work experience include as Curator in Chief, Diaspora Art Development, Brampton Ontario, Canada. 2014, Organizer of  “The tale of the African Woman” Brampton, Ontario, October 2014,Negotiated coverage and broadcast of Afrikaart Art Exhibition by FEVA TV, the Largest Television Network for the Diaspora in Canada and granted interview as Curator in Chief while she also has to her credit sale of 78% of Art exhibits at the Afrikaart Exhibition apart from having authored an international novel titled ECHOES OF SILENCE.

Angela’s Management / Board Experience include as Business Development Director, Enterprise JKK Ltd 2007 – 2009 , Account Director 141 Worldwide Nigeria – Member of WPP Global Advertising Conglomerate 2006 – 2007 , Brand Manager 141 worldwide Nigeria 2005 – 2006 , Account Executive   SO&U Saatchi &Saatchi  2004– 2005 , Senior Corporate Affairs Manager, Revilo Aerospace Corporation  2001 –  2004 and Customer Service Officer, Standard Trust Bank Plc1999 –  2000(Customer Services. Angela is expected to bring her wealth of experience and her international engagements and exposures to bear on the show which promises to be a worthwhile venture for viewers all over the world on DSTV and other channels.


Elimihe Osezuah : Writer. Producer. Director. Branded Entertainment Strategist. 

Coach Ose, as he is popularly called, began his career in entertainment and NEWS as a TV producer with DBN TV in March 1999 after having done his one year compulsory National Youth Service at Delta Broadcasting Service in Asaba as News Writer in 1998. He worked briefly as a copywriter, and producer at Media International Ltd , Lagos under Chief Tunde Oloyede from January 2001- June 2002 before he joined the services of Rosabel Leo Burnett then one of the top four leading marketing communications giants in Nigeria as agency producer where he won the prestigious , highly coveted award of Agency Man of the Year and the rare award of Management Man of the Year in 2005. He won some awards both as producer and copywriter for the agency key amongst which were the LAIF Best CSR TV commercial(for UBAAMAA), 2008, and Best Use of Music in a TV Commercial, Best Social Message Awards for Coca-Cola Sweats 2009. He soon grew in the ranks to attain Group Head, TV Production and Creative Services.

Ose has produced over fifty documentaries as a producer/scriptwriter between 1999 and 2012, over a hundred Television commercial some of which are from script to screen. Some of the clients he has served include, but not limited to: Cabdury Nigeria (Bournvita, TomTom, Cadbury Corporate, Stimorol, Eclairs), VMobile, Nigerian Distilleries Limited (Seaman’s Schnapps, Bacchus Tonic Wine), UBA (United bank for Africa) Plc, Coca-Cola Nigeria Limited(Corporate-as a writer and producer), Procter and Gamble Ltd (Always, Bonux and Corporate), Grand Oak Limited and Globacom.

He has also scripted and directed TV commercials as an agency producer for low budget clients like Commonwealth 2014 Committee, Yoyo Bitters (Montage) . He is a resource person on Production Management and Producing. He has taught CREATIVITY at the Pan African University’s School of Media between 2008 and 2009. He is a regular resource person at the Independent Television Producers’ Association of Nigeria’s (ITPAN’s) Training School where he was once the Director of Studies. He served as Secretary General of ITPAN between 2010 and 2012.

Presently, he is the Founding CEO at Elose Plus Media Limited, a firm he set up in January 2011 with specialty in Branded Entertainment, Movies production from script to screen, TV commercials production and creative content development. He scripted and directed his first cinema movie (First Cause-2013) He has a passion for the accomplished picture. His first effort at producing and directing a full feature movie, FIRST CAUSE has inspired some nominations from local awards like Best Of Nollywood, BON (Movie of the Year, Movie with Best Social Message) and Nigerian Movies Awards, NMA (Best Actor).


OLUMUYIWA OJO is a highly sought after Producer, Director and Writer with experience in Film and Television spanning over a decade. His capacity as General Manager/ Senior Producer and Creative Writer with Media International Ltd offered him the opportunity to produce a number of documentaries for blue-chip companies and multinationals in Nigeria some of which include Union Bank, Procter & Gamble, Nigeria Ports Authority and Dunlop Plc. Muyiwa has also been involved in some of the most successful television commercials in Nigeria, such as the Baba Blue Series, Bagco Super Sack Series, National Mirror Newspaper Radio & TV Promotions as well as some TV programmes in the capacity of a Writer and Producer.

Major films and drama series projects include Kila Babo, Trauma and Tightrope with Muyiwa’s signature as associate producer and assistant director. A couple of years ago, he produced a 26 episode drama series called Bridges for the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS); he also co-created Middlemen (a soon-to-be released TV drama series) and currently sits as the Project Manager of Nigerian Elite Business Award.

Olumuyiwa began his broadcasting career as a reporter with EKO FM, more importantly he has developed himself to fully understand the creative and business art of production by learning from some of Nigeria’s venerated Hollywood experts. He holds a Diploma in Mass Communication from Moshood Abiola Polythenic, Abeokuta, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in History and Strategic Studies and a PGD in Mass Communication from University of Lagos. Muyiwa also holds a certificate in Producing from ITPAN.

Till date, he works with Mnet Africa as the Project Manager on the award winning soap opera, Tinsel. He is an avid reader, loves honest music, watching movies-both for pleasure and for learning, cooking and playing table tennis. A manager per excellence, a people’s person; Muyiwa is an admirable go-getter by all standards possible.

Magnus Aghe 

With over a decade experience in the media production and marketing communications industry, Magnus is a media consultant, veteran producer and prolific screenwriter/scriptwriter/copywriter. He holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Lagos (2010) where he graduated top of his class with a CGPA of 4.02, and has attended numerous courses and seminars in the advertising/marketing communications field as well as the film/TV production industry.

He has been part of teams that have created successful and award-winning media production and advertising campaigns in the capacities of strategist, researcher, copywriter, scriptwriter, screenwriter, production manager, continuity/script supervisor, theme music/song writer, associate producer, producer and executive producer. He has a first degree (BEng.) in Electrical Electronics Engineering.


Lanre Kuponiyi

Lanre is a specialist in Business Development and Business Intelligence with about 27 years of rich and variegated experience in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. A winner of numerous awards across his career, Lanre has been in the Marketing and Marketing Communications industry all his working life and has had stints across Africa culminating in his role as Malta Guinness Account Director for Africa under the auspices of Saatchi & Saatchi International in South Africa. His work experience spans the broad spectrum of the Marketing Communication Arts in the Nigerian Advertising and Oil & Gas Industries.

A registered professional member of the Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM) and Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON), Lanre won the STARFISH (Most Outstanding Staff) Award at SO&U Advertising Limited in 2005. He was the best overall student in PR/Advertising in his graduating class at the then Ogun State Polytechnic where he studied Mass Communication.

He has PGD in Business Management from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State. He holds a Certificate in Strategic Business Management from Harvard University. He is a certified Software Test Analyst, a Business Analyst and Associate Member of the British Computer Society (AMBCS).  Lanre has worked on blue chip global brands across FMCG, Telecomms and Financial Services. He was the Marketing Consultant to the Cross River State Government on the Calabar Festival/Carnival Calabar for 2011 and 2012 editions. Lanre is currently Owner/MD of Brandhouse Communications Limited, a marketing communications company with Branding/Strategic Design and Promotions as its core, Director – Business Development/Client Services at Maverick Equinox Limited – a Specialist Marketing Agency, Director of Operations at Goldquest Ventures, and Chief Operating Officer at SeaEagle Ventures.
